--Gotta Believe June Football Skills Camp and Summer Speed/Agility Camp:

Open to all area kids. To register, print up the flyer and mail it in to Gotta Believe

CCCF's 7th Season Underway (4th with CAYFL)

Registration for ALL Tackle Divisions (Midget - Jr. Midget - PeeWee -

Jr. PeeWee - Mighty Mite) and Flag is underway.

Cave Creek/Carefree Youth Football will be in its 7th season in 2008 and its 4th as a founding member of the Central Arizona Youth Football League (an AYF-affiliated league).

Here are a couple of important facts for you to know: (1) CAYFL is keeping the weights the same in 2008 as 2007. Click here for the weight chart: . (2) League age is determined by a player's age on 7/31/08.

Key Dates and Information for 2008

• Feb 1     On-line Registration Starts through CAYFL website:

PLEASE NOTE: If you register online, you WILL still need to come to an on-site registration to bring in the required paperwork. Please bring in a print out of your online registration in addition to the information identified below to the first registration after you have registered online.

• May 17 - Registration (9a-12p) (Black Mountain Elem Sch cafeteria--60th St/ South of Carefree Hwy)
• June 21 - Registration (9a-12p) (Black Mountain Elem Sch cafeteria--60th St/ South of Carefree Hwy)  Note: Registration after June 21 will be on an “as-space-is-available-basis only”

All registering players need to bring the following items with them to registration: 1-Proof of residency (Utility bill)–plus 2 copies (no phone bills), 2-Original birth certificate (plus two copies), and 3-Applicable Registration fee. Player and a Parent/Guardian must be present.

• July 27 - Final Rosters to coaches
• Aug 2 - Tackle Equipment Distribution
• Aug 4 - Tackle Practice Starts
• Aug 16 - CAYFL-wide tackle certification
• Aug 18 - Flag Practice Starts
• Aug 23 - CCCF Kickoff Carnival and Picture Day
• Sep 6 - First Tackle Games
• Sep 13 - First Flag Games
• Nov 8 - CAYFL Championship Games
• Nov 15 - AYF Regional Championship Games (in Phx area)
• Nov 30-Dec 6 - AYF National Tournament

Important Note: CCCF believes every child who wants to play football should have the opportunity, regardless of financial situations. If you are aware of anyone who wants to register, but may not have signed up because of the financial burden, please contact Craig Eckhardt (president@cavecreekfootball.com) to help arrange the necessary financial assistance.
