Registration Update

--Our regular Registration process is complete.

Late registration is currently available for the following division only:

Midget (up to 169 lbs).

If you want to register a child for one of these divisions, please click the following link  and email us with his/her name, birthdate & weight. We will contact you with more information.

(The League's on-line registration system has been closed.)

--We have started waiting lists for the Flag, Mighty Mite, Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee and Junior Midget divisions.

To be added to a waiting list, please send us an email   with your son's name, birthdate and approximate weight. We will respond with additional information regarding the waiting list process.

Special Note re Flag Situation:

Our waiting list at the flag level is based largely on not having enough qualified Head Coaches. If you are interested in finding out more about being a Flag Head Coach, please email us:

CCCF's 7th Season Underway (4th with CAYFL)

Registration for ALL Tackle Divisions (Midget - Jr. Midget - PeeWee -

Jr. PeeWee - Mighty Mite) and Flag is underway.

Cave Creek/Carefree Youth Football will be in its 7th season in 2008 and its 4th as a founding member of the Central Arizona Youth Football League (an AYF-affiliated league).

Here are a couple of important facts for you to know: (1) CAYFL is keeping the weights the same in 2008 as 2007. Click here for the weight chart: . (2) League age is determined by a player's age on 7/31/08.

Key Dates and Information for 2008

• July 27 - Final Tackle Rosters to coaches; Flag rosters will be sent to coaches by mid-August.
• Aug 2 - Tackle Equipment Distribution
• Aug 4 - Tackle Practice Starts
• Aug 16 - CAYFL-wide tackle certification
• Aug 18 - Flag Practice Starts
• Aug 23 - CCCF Kickoff Carnival and Picture Day
• Sep 6 - First Tackle Games
• Sep 13 - First Flag Games
• Nov 8 - CAYFL Championship Games
• Nov 15 - AYF Regional Championship Games (in Phx area)
• Nov 30-Dec 6 - AYF National Tournament

Important Note: CCCF believes every child who wants to play football should have the opportunity, regardless of financial situations. If you are aware of anyone who wants to register, but may not have signed up because of the financial burden, please contact Craig Eckhardt (president@cavecreekfootball.com) to help arrange the necessary financial assistance.
