[CCCF Announce List]

Cave Creek Youth Football & Cheer Update (Aug. 9th)

Please be aware of the following as the season quickly approaches:

1.                  We are still looking for players for the Midget division
team: 11-14 years old weighing up to 160 pounds. Please let your friends
know and ask them to email lid at cavecreekfootball.com if they are interested.

2.                  Make-up Equipment Day (tackle only) has been scheduled
for FRIDAY (Aug.11) at 6pm at the old Sonoran Trails MS gym (same place
where it was Saturday). If you did not get your equipment last Saturday you
need to come this Friday evening. Practice for all tackle teams starts 8/14.

3.                  Flag players should be getting calls from their coaches
within the next week. Practice starts the week of the 28th. Your coach will
provide you with more information.

4.                  Get Those Physicals!! All players must have turned in a
physical completed by their doctor. This year, it must be on the League Form
(if you don't have a copy, you can download one off the website:
www.cavecreekfootball.com <http://www.cavecreekfootball.com/> ). Remember no
player is allowed on the practice field prior to turning in this form.

5.                  This year, each team is required to get Team Sponsors
(Flag teams need a minimum of one $400 sponsor and tackle teams need at
least two $400 sponsors.) Please consider sponsoring your son's or
daughter's team when the coaches ask for sponsors.
