Attention all CCCF football and cheer participants:
1. Late Registration will be held this Saturday (July 29th)
at Sonoran Trails Middle School (60th St., south of the Carefree Hwy) in the
cafeteria from 9am-12noon. We still have space in the following divisions:
Cheerleading, Flag and Tackle (Mitey Mite, Pee Wee and Midget only). Please
help get the word out especially for the Pee Wee and Midget teams. (Note
that all Players who were on a waiting list for Jr. Pee Wee or Pee Wee we be
able to play on a team in the Pee Wee division because we have enough
players to have a 2nd team at that division.)
2. Cheerleading is in GREAT NEED of Cheer Moms/Coaches.
(Without Coaches to lead the Cheer Squads, it is impossible to have them.)
Please contact Kristine Leonard, Cheer Director, at
cheer at cavecreekfootball.com if you are willing to help out in this area. You
can also stop by Late Registration and let us know as well.
3. Don't forget your Physicals: This year, the League we
are in is requiring a specific Physical Form be completed. You should have
received one at Registration. However, it is also available on the website
(www.cavecreekfootball.com <http://www.cavecreekfootball.com/> ) under the
Key Information tab. REMEMBER, no participant may begin practice without a
completed Physical Form.
4. All Players/Cheerleaders must get their pictures taken
and submit the necessary paperwork (even if you registered on line). We have
a number of players that still need pictures and a number of tackle players
who have not yet weighed in. Please stop by Late Registration if you are in
one of these groups. It will be much easier for your child if you get this
stuff taken care of before things get started.
5. Equipment Day for Tackle Players is August 5th. Teams
will be formed after Late Registration and you will get a phone call from
your coach by early next week to tell you what time and where you will need
to get equipment that day. We need help with this process as it takes a lot
to equip 250 football players. If you are willing to help out, please send
an email to equipment at cavecreekfootball.com (John Leonard).
