Cave Creek/Carefree Youth Football
 
With our first registration for the fall 2008 season a little over a week
away, here is some important information:
 
CCCF 2008 Update
CCCF is entering its 7th season and the 4th as a founding member association
of CAYFL (Central Arizona Youth Football League). Once again, we will be
registering players for play in Flag Football (ages 6-8) and Tackle (ages
8-14 in all 5 divisions: Mitey Mite, Junior PeeWee, PeeWee, Junior Midget
and Midget). Collectively, CCCF had its most competitive season in 2007 and
we look forward to building on that success in 2008!
 
Registration
Our First Walk-In Registration is Saturday, April 12th; 9a-12p at Black
Mountain Elem School Cafeteria (60th St., just south of the Carefree
Highway).
Each player should bring (1) his/her original birth certificate (plus 2
copies), (2) a utility bill (plus 2 copies) to prove residency (no phone
bills), and (3) the registration fee. Registration Fee: Flag-$100;
Tackle-$135 through 4/12/08 ($155 through 5/17; $175 after 5/17)
 
Physicals
We have arranged to have a doctor present at the April 12 registration to
provide player physicals from 9am until 11am (cost: $25).
 
Additional Registration Information
--We will have additional walk-in registrations on May 17 and June 21 at the
same time and same location. CAYFL has set the registration fee for tackle
to increase after each registration. That fee will be $155 from 4/13-5/17
and $175 after 5/17. Players must also pay an Association Fee by August 23,
which is $85 for flag and $175 for tackle--same as 2007. 
 
--CAYFL has informed us that the weight chart for tackle players will remain
the same in 2008. That chart showing the maximum weight for each division by
age is available on our website--look for the link from the homepage.
