Cave Creek/Carefree Youth Football had a record setting April Registration
with over 160 players signing up for the 2009 season. All players interested
in playing in the fall are encouraged to sign up early to make sure they can
get a spot. In addition, we are hoping/expecting to have at least two teams
at each of the following divisions: PeeWee, Jr. PeeWee, Cadet and Mighty
Mite. (We already have enough players at each of these divisions for one
team and in some cases have too many for one team so we need more players to
form a second team so that everyone can play. If registration at any level
exceeds the max number of players permitted on one team, we will need
approximately 20 more players at that division to form a 2nd team. In the
interim, players who register will be placed on hold until we can confirm
enough for a 2nd team.)
On-Line Registration is now open (go to
<outbind://58/www.cavecreekfootball.com> www.cavecreekfootball.com and click
the link in the middle of the home page to the registration website). If you
have already registered, please do not use on-line registration to provide
additional information to us (just email us with the info:
registration at cavecreekfootball.com).
On-line registrants will still need to come to the May 9th Registration to
bring in their paperwork and get weighed. However, signing up on line will
give you a higher spot in the registration process than waiting until May
9th (in case we have to start creating a waiting list at any particular
division).
CCCF/Gotta Believe Summer Camps have been scheduled. There is a flyer on the
website with more information. Players who sign up by the May deadline will
save $50, so sign-up early for that. There are three summer camps: The
Summer-long Speed/Agility camp; The annual Preseason football/conditioning
camp; and (new for 2009) a Preseason football camp with full equipment and
pads (to be provided by CCCF). These Camps are excellent ways for all kids
(not just football players) to improve their athletic ability and
conditioning and are therefore encouraged by CCCF. If you have any
questions, please contact Coach DeGrenier at GottaBelieve at earthlink.net for
more information.
Please forward this email to anyone who may be interested in the 2009 CCCF
Season or the CCCF/Gotta Believe Summer Camps.
Reminder to all who have registered on-line or who did not have their child
present at the April 4th Registration, please bring in your paperwork and
child (to be weighed) at the May 9th Registration!
